Boston Marathon Blasts Leave 3 Dead and 176 Wounded

The two blasts at the Boston Marathon left 3 dead with the
injured now totaling 176. Most news organizations from
around the world carried the shocking story on their front
pages. One eight-year-old, Martin Richard, was among the
three people killed while his family suffered injuries from
the bomb.

Most of the lead runners had already finished the race at
the time of the blasts which occurred at 2:42 p.m.
Emergency personal quickly responded to those wounded in
the blasts. Theories of who might have caused the incident
ranged from Islamic Jihadists, to right-wing extremists.
Conspiracies ranged from false flag attacks staged by the
government to perhaps a criminally insane loner.

One 20-year-old Saudi national, who was staying in a nearby
hotel with two other men, was taken in for questioning by
the FBI and local authorities.

Security across the nation has been tightened at
local events, airports, train stations, and other public
meeting places.

President Obama vowed to bring justice to those who
perpetrated the horrendous incident.
