Tensions Continue To Escalate Over North Korea

Tensions continue to escalate as North Korea threatens their South Korean neighbor
and the United States.  Leader Kim Jong-un has ordered his missile launchers to be ready
for a strike on both countries.

The US has responded by sending two B-2 bombers that dropped dummy bombs during the
scheduled military exercises.  The escalation of tension has not gone unnoticed by
the leaders of Russia and China.

China's Foreign Ministry has called for restraint and the foreign minister of Russia,
Sergey V. Lavrov, has stated that such actions could spiral out of control.

Many analysts believe that North Korea does not have the capacity to launch a long-range
missile much less the ability to miniaturize a warhead capable of fitting the vehicle.  Yet
some think, in light of the display of North Korea's KN-08 missile that they are indeed
capable of intercontinental strikes.
